If you are aware of that and the fact that the movie goes back and forth, not just timeline wise, but also in the mind of the protagonist (hard to explain, but you'll get it). One thing is for sure, this is not aiming to be easy to digest or just plain entertainment. Some will call them other things (this has quite a lot of nudity for example). They are not easy, some will call them art, others boring and/or annoying.
